Species Info

The Ysbryd ("ees-brid") are a species of magical feline with stretches of skin between their legs and tail with which they can glide. They always carry a spirit with them in the shape of a glowing sphere that usually matches their eye color. The bond between the spirit and the Ysbryd is thusfar unknown, though it is known that they are inseparable and that no creature except the Ysbryd themselves can touch and hold the spirit as though it were a physical object, others it will simply pass through. The size of the spirit may vary, though the template above shows it's maximum size in relation to the body. The size of the Ysbryd themselves, too, is unspecified.

Regular Ysbryd generally have cat-based coats and live only on islands with other Ysbryd. Rare Ysbryd generally have more complex coats or a coat based on another animal, they may live on the same island as their counter-species, the Fahin.

Your Ysbryd

Once bought, you may give your Ysbryd a name, a gender and pretty much use it in any way you like. You also get a larger, transparent image of your Ysbryd (for which credit will have to be given if used and reposted). Slight changes to the design may be possible on request (such as the eye color).

NOTE: The Ysbryd are NOT an open species. You may not create your own, they can only be bought or gifted!
