Your Mythological Creature commission for fx1 on FA :>. I will not reveal the personality traits they chose (on their own advice, which was a good one) as that would give people a clue what words they should choose for a certain creature. The gender should be obvious and the chosen color was red.

When Perseus decapitated Medusa two "children" were born from her blood. One was the winged horse Pegasus. The second, Chyrsaor, was a young man with a golden sword. He wasn't a naga or a gorgon, but your rendition is far better.

Really great art, but may I point out that a gorgon has the full human body with snakes for hair. It's a lamia which has the body of a snake and human torso and head.
Still, wonderfull artwork!

As I recall, both have various different depictions but Lamia does not have snakes for hair. You're right that classical Gorgons don't have snake bodies though

. I took that liberty as I looked at more modern references. Thanks for the crit and comment!
