So here they are, the Mystery Characters! I'm sure that they may have been a little predictable, but I hope they're appreciated nonetheless!

Character #1: Adopted by Morianrhod
Death Goat, Ghost Doe or Shadow Mare are a few of the many names or descriptions that have been given to this creature. This delicate being is regularly associated with death or misfortune. Not surprisingly, as it is the very essence of darkness; it casts no shadow of it’s own and is seemingly capable of disappearing into thin air as it pleases. Men who were brave or ignorant enough have attempted to catch it for their personal gain for centuries, but it forever remained elusive. It’s true nature and purpose are still unknown to this day, though records show no evidence of it causing harm to those who have seen it.
Character 2: Adopted by Lookin4therightart
This powerful creature has a feature which sets it apart from any other known to man; it literally burns it’s food to digest it. Inside it’s body, chemicals cause it’s prey to ignite, after which it slowly burns up, providing the beast’s massive body with all the heat and energy it needs. It even has it’s own organic chimney; a thick, holed patch of heat-resistant skin stretches along it’s neck and back and starts to emit smoke shortly after the beast has eaten. During the start of the burning process, it often lays down to rest, at which time the smoke is dense enough to repel potential enemies as well as parasites.
Humans often try to capture them when they are younger, setting metal traps or wires to ensnare them. This because the adults are highly aggressive and pose a potential threat to livestock as well as the people themselves. However, even when young these beasts are tough, and they may well rip or bite themselves loose with brute force if they need to. Because of this, as well as their fiercely territorial behavior, adults are more often than not missing limbs or otherwise severely scarred.

This creature is of a small stature but greatly makes up for it with it’s reputation and appearance. It is considered holy in many countries, and too beautiful and pure to capture in most others. Even the animals that live in it’s environment seem to prefer to leave it alone; many like to believe that even they have respect for this mystical little being, though the more cynical speculate that the flower on it’s back emits a scent they find unpleasant. Little is actually known about this creature, though it most likely feeds on nectar, small insects and certain plants. It is found living both solitary as well as in small groups and is usually sighted within a certain range of a fresh water lake.
