Resting

I'm having a hard time believing this is done. A personal full colour piece (the first in a long while) which served as a practise on many things and turned out decent at that, with the help of many wonderful people both from DA and ConceptArt.

I've had these questions a lot in it's progress while I was streaming, so I'll answer them to avoid having to answer them again in comments; every scale on the dragon as well as every strand of grass was hand drawn. I did not use any custom brushes, the standard hard-edge brush was used for the entire piece, with a few strokes of a soft edge brush here and there. Textures were used only for the rocks, and one for the base of the grass which I painted over so much that it was practically of no use xD.
