The arranged royal marriage was beneficial for her father, the country and her race. The elven bride kept telling herself this as she awaited the arrival of the human groom, an arrogant and most unpleasant man who did not think highly of her kind.

I didn't really have time for this D: I just felt extremely inspired after having scrolled through *sidwill-cg's gallery (check it out, seriously) and wanted to try a similar method of rendering.

All in all about 2 hours, Photoshop CS2.
