Comic Page AUCTION [CLOSED]

• INTRO

Bring your character to life! With this auction I am giving you the unique opportunity* to purchase a comic page that will revolve around your character, doing whatever you would like to see them do. Perhaps it will portray them going on an epic adventure, doing something silly or even just showing an average day out of their lives! The subject, the event AND the comic layout will all be completely of your choosing!

• THE COMIC

Because I want this comic to be completely customizable, I decided to assign points to the options with a maximum number of points available for you to spend. This is how it works:

Total points: 30

10 points = Full body frame.
5 points = Headshot / Zoom-in of body / Zoomed-out full body.
3 points = Detail shot (eye, foot, important background element, etc).

For example, you could choose to go with three full body shots, dividing the page into three frames. Or you could choose two full-bodies, a headshot and a detail shot. This would leave two points that will be spent on adding details to backgrounds or simply refining the frames.

NOTE: You do not HAVE to choose the layout if you don't want to! It should give you an idea of your options, but for those who like to be surprised you may also simply give me the "story" and let me sketch it out as I see fit. This may even result in me adding an extra frame because of the design freedom given to me. Of course, you will be able to give feedback on the sketches regardless of how you decide to compose your comic.


• THE AUCTION

In short:
- The starting price is €50 (1 EURO is 1,28 USD).
- Minimum increments of €5.
- To bid, please reply to the last bidder!
- The winner should be able to send the first payment within 48 hours.
- PayPal only (except for Dutch citizens)!
- Auction deadline: EXPIRED

To keep this do-able, the finish of the comic will depend on the height of the bids. The ladder is as follows:
€50 - €149 = (refined) sketches.
€150 - €199 = Clean lineart.
€200 - €299 = Flat colors OR painterly monochrome.
€300 and up = Painterly full color.

Should the bids completely exceed my expectations, then I will discuss further options with the winner (think of an extra character, a longer or an extra page, etc.).
