Bouguereau is absolutely not romantic. He is an english academic from the 19th century, but not romantic.
Great job, btw.
Great job, btw.
Maybe not Romantic, but certainly romantic...
Hmm, I guess you are right. I must've got confused there. Thank you!
how well done !
looks just like the original...
Fine piece of work, love it. May I ask if this was photoshop or Corel painter that you did this in? I love this artists work, him and Waterhouse. There is something dreamy about the way they painted that pulls you in for a closer study. You have a lovely gallery here might I add.
Thank you very much. This was done in Photoshop .
VERY VERY REALISTIC!! HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!!! (TEACH ME MASTER.......)
Heh, well the steps are included ^^. That's pretty much it!
This is really amazing, look like those classic and beautiful paintings.
Awesome study!! I like how you made it look so painterly and soft somehow
I'd love to know how you came up with the colour scheme. I find it greatly mixed!
It is a master copy, so I did not choose these colors myself . Of course I didn't color pick them (that would kind of defeat the learning process), one of the goals of doing a study like this is to learn how and why a master used their color.
YAAY YOU POSTED IT! Oh he is wonderful! Exactly like the original, if you ask me haha. I love it and I'm glad it's up
Beautiful study. I love how the detailed areas are so soft yet visually effective. I must look more into this artist.
I just did a HUGE research paper on Bouguereau! He is one of my favorite artists by far. His work is so smooth and well rendered it's almost hazy, like rich cotton candy for the senses XD I knew exactly who it was when I saw this in my inbox. You did him and his portrait justice! It's almost hard to tell that it's digital and not oil paint. Great, solid work as always!
This looks amazing, you're a great artist!
Holytoldeo this is amazing Really love how soft his hair looks compared to his facial hair. Also love the shadows on his face, it all just looks amazing!
Amazing as usual V.V
Looks incredible, Ilse. Loved watching you working on this piece I find it very inspiring, makes me wanna start a new project myself!
