All Grown Up

I've always wanted to re-do a silly childhood drawing, so I picked a dragon I drew when I was a kid and decided to recreate it in my current style and level.

The above is fourteen years later.  I would not say that this image represents fourteen years of progress, because when I was that age I did not take art very seriously. What matters is not the amount of years so much as the hours spent trying to improve myself. It's difficult to put a number on it, but my rough guess is that between the photo and this painting there is about 9000 hours worth of work.
